Read Tabs Like A Pro
Learning to read tabs is often the first step in discovering the beauty of written music. Many guitarists do not move on to learning to read actual music notation but this doesn't mean that the aspiring guitarist or even the seasoned veteran can not unlock the wondrous information that a broader knowledge of tablature can yield.
Well-written tablature can display a wealth of articulations, dynamics, fingerings and more. If this is understood by the player then it can help to improve interpretation, technique and the idiosyncrasies of the guitar and that can only be a good thing!
